We're targeting terrorists in Syria: Kremlin
MOSCOW (Reuters) - The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian air strikes in Syria were targeting a list of well-known terrorist organizations and that it was too early to say whether President Vladimir Putin was satisfied with the campaign so far.
At least 50 said killed in September Xinjiang attack as China warns on security
BEIJING (Reuters) - At least 50 people died in an attack last month at a coal mine in China's far-western Xinjiang, Radio Free Asia reported on Thursday, as a visiting senior leader warned that the security situation in the violence-prone region was "very serious".
