Ebay profit beats, shares jump after-hours
(Reuters) - EBay Inc reported quarterly revenue and profit above analysts' average estimate on Wednesday as its marketplaces business performed better than expected, sending its shares soaring in after-hours trading.
Western Digital to buy SanDisk in $19 billion deal
(Reuters) - Hard-disk drive maker Western Digital Corp agreed to buy SanDisk Corp in a $19 billion deal that will greatly increase its ability to make flash memory storage chips used in smartphones and tablets.
YouTube offers U.S. subscribers paid option with no ads
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Alphabet Inc's YouTube will launch a $10-a-month subscription option in the United States on Oct. 28 that will allow viewers to watch videos from across the site without interruption from advertisements, the company said on Wednesday.
