Dollar up on Fed rate bets, earnings lift shares
LONDON (Reuters) - The dollar rose to its highest in more than three months and U.S. Treasury yields rebounded from two-month lows on Wednesday, after a Federal Reserve official said the central bank was close to raising interest rates.
Turkey says coalition to launch 'comprehensive battle' against Islamic State
ISTANBUL/BEIRUT (Reuters) - Turkey said on Wednesday a U.S.-led coalition will soon launch a "comprehensive battle" against Islamic State militants from Turkish air bases, but Syria said any military action not coordinated with Damascus would breach its sovereignty.
