Balkan states start filtering migrant flow to Europe
BELGRADE/SID, Serbia (Reuters) - Balkan countries have begun filtering the flow of migrants to Europe, granting passage to those fleeing conflict in the Middle East and Afghanistan but turning back others from Africa and Asia, the United Nations and Reuters witnesses said on Thursday.
Volkswagen says 120,000 U.S. diesel owners will get gift cards, repairs
(Reuters) - Volkswagen of America said on Wednesday that 120,000 owners of diesel cars that have violated U.S. emission standards will receive $500 gift cards and $500 toward vehicle repairs.
